I’ll be honest, sidecars are not my favorite but.. you put chamomile in anything and I’ll probably love it. This springtime cocktail features a fresh made chamomile simple syrup which is also fantastic in lemonades!

Instructions

To make chamomile simple syrup—
  1. Mix sugar, chamomile flowers, and water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved, about 3 minutes. Strain the syrup, discarding the flowers.
  2. Store the simple syrup in a airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
To make the cocktail —
  1. Combine brandy, syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir/shake then strain into a coup glass. Garnish with lemon twists and edible flowers.
