This is a place for slowing down, appreciating the seasons, and making the best of what we’ve got. There’s a heavy emphasis on living well within the season and accepting all that mother nature has to offer us.

Welcome welcome! Our home is fully decked out for halloween right now and I’m so excited to showcase it all here for you!! This is our 3rd year of decorating and it’s so fun to see how much things progess and grow over the years.
I’m excited about the idea of swapping all of our base furniture towards more neutral classic pieces that allow my flex items (like pillows, blankets, florals, etc) do all of the seasonal talking. Does that make sense? Basically I really want to swap our sofa and rug to more classic/neutral styles.
I’ve been really into the idea of mixing natural elements and hinting at a Spanish modern aesthetic. My dream is having a marble-esque counter on the middle island and dark butcher block around the perimeter. I want to reface our existing cabinets with classic shaker doors, all painted in a creamy off-white.
Easter has always been one of my low-key favorite holidays. I’ve always been drawn to color, especially pastels, I love family gatherings, and it always feels like the first celebration of spring. If you’re hosting this year and don’t know where to start, I’ve gathered some ideas for food, drink and decor below! Happy hosting and happy Easter!

Recent Thoughts & Musings:
Fitness is somewhat of a new concept to me. I was never the girl in sports, I didn’t watch it, play it, or understand it. Fitness and working out wasn’t a natural thing for me. But overtime, I’ve allowed myself to reshape my idea of it and give it a new meaning. I let go of the “standards” I thought I had to live by in order to work out.
Here’s my gameplan every January to keep my spirits high and make some of my favorite memories during these cold, grey months.
Weekend DIYs
After living in the house for almost a year, we finally tackled the one project that we had been dreeeaming of! This wall between our living room and dining room is a the complete center of our house. You can walk a full circle around it and it’s always felt like it was in the way. But it’s a load-bearing wall so I knew that in order to open this space up, we’d have to get creative.
