French 75
My French obsession is still ever-growing. Binging all of Emily in Paris over the winter started something I didn’t know about myself. After learning to make coq au vin, cutting my hair into a French bob, and attempting to learn French on Duolingo.. I’m now expanding into a French 75 cocktail.
Healthy Green Enchiladas
We loooove mexican food but sometimes it can be a bit heavy or calorie dense. This recipe is perfectly light while maintaining that classic comfort-food feeling.
Healthy Trail Mix
This trail mix is the best of both worlds. It’s sweet, salty and filling. Pineapple, chocolate and cinnamon give a slight sweetness and it’s paired nicely with the salty pistachios, almonds and sunflower seeds.
Summer Zucchini Pasta
If you want a dinner that is clean, full of protein, and feels like comfort, you’re in the right place. We love to use spicy italian sausage and letting the zucchini and lemon juice make a light zesty sauce.
Our Garden Cost Breakdown
An honest look at how much we’ve spent so far on the garden and links to everything we’ve used!
Homemade Soft Pretzels
The year was 2014.. I pulled out a Home & Garden magazine that was perfectly filled with fall crafts and recipes. One of these recipes included soft pretzels — my love language. I fumbled around my mom’s kitchen, feeling like I was working on a science experiment while I dip raw dough into boiling baking soda…
Tropical Grilled Kabobs
Dylan and I loooove grilling. We tend to grill out every sunday evening in the summer. This is one of my all-time favorite grilling recipes. The teriyaki sauce on these kabobs is like liquid heaven.
Crockpot Chicken Tacos
Get ready to thank me for the biggest lifesaver of 2021 — or possibly your whole life because this chicken taco recipe is really that good, that easy, and that cheap. This is a weekly staple around here. You.. are.. welcome.
Honey Snap Salmon
This salmon is sweet and spicy and sticky and it’s topped on a bed of fluffy couscous filled with snappy peas, tangy peppers and crunchy pistachios.
It’s a damn dream, y’all.
Guava Mama Cocktail
If summer were an alcoholic beverage — it would be white rum. Lets be serious. And mixing it with coconut? Oh heck yes.
Star Spangled Spread
With hardly any prep work, these are perfect for pulling out before dinner is served. There’s countless ways to make a cheese platter more patriotic (cue everything red, white and blue).
Mango Kicker Cocktail
This cocktail packs a summer punch. You start with infusing your own jalapeño tequila and rounding it off with sweet mango.
Summer Cajun Mixer
I wanted something that spoke to these southern summer days, and what better do that with than a bowl full of cajun. Sausage, corn, okra and green beans drizzled with a simple vinegar dressing.. ooh ooh ooooh.
